Faculty involved in Design and Development focus on several interrelated areas that contribute to both vehicle design and to design of production systems for vehicle manufacturing. These include chassis and suspension design, vehicle dynamics modeling and control, lightweight engineering, and design of instruments and machines for high precision systems manufacturing and dimensional metrology.
