Timken Technology Center-Greenville
The 118,000 square foot center is part of Timken’s network of technology centers within the global Bearings and Power Transmission business. The Greenville site is primarily responsible for Timken's development of new automotive powertrain technology and supporting the global design and production of bearings and related products used in powertrain applications. It is home to more than 150 associates, more than one-half of whom are engineers working in the fields of technology advancement, product engineering, application engineering and product testing, manufacturing process development, quality, metallurgy and materials science, and advanced metrology. The facility also houses a large prototype manufacturing center and product testing laboratories which allow Timken to complete the product development cycle from concept through validation entirely under one roof.
